Have you noticed the increased bombardment of ads on the forums on MTBR.com?\u00a0\u00a0 They take up near 50% of the screen lately.\u00a0 It never was too much of a bother for me before, but recently it just seems ridiculous.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Here is a\u00a0tip that those of you\u00a0using Internet Explorer without any third party ad-filtering software can do to cut down on the ads.<\/p>\n
Navigate to Tools — Internet Options to bring up the Internet Options Dialog Box<\/p>\n
Click on the Security Tab, then on the Restricted Icon.\u00a0 This will enable the “Sites” Button.\u00a0 Click on the Button<\/p>\n

This will be then bring up a dialog box that will allow you to enter a website address.\u00a0 By default it will enter the address of the page you where currently on when started this effort.\u00a0 You will want to clear out the information currently there and enter<\/p>\n
\u00a0http:\/\/creview.adbureau.net<\/strong><\/p>\n in the dialog box and press enter.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Then press\u00a0“Close” and an OK\u00a0or two to\u00a0your browser.\u00a0 Refresh your\u00a0MTBR page and you should see a dramatic drop in ads on this site.\u00a0<\/p>\n The above address is the primary adserver that mtbr uses.\u00a0 By blocking their adserver it will eliminate most of the ads on thier site.<\/p>\n \u00a0Happy MTBRing (or not).<\/p>\n \u00a0-Bill<\/p>\n![\"mtbr\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/eb02bd508a8ce727cf4c1960ee10fac8.jpg?resize=394%2C346\")
