{"id":20,"date":"2008-01-13T12:10:08","date_gmt":"2008-01-13T20:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/?p=20"},"modified":"2010-10-09T12:42:54","modified_gmt":"2010-10-09T20:42:54","slug":"giving-a-little-back-to-indian-creek","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/?p=20","title":{"rendered":"Giving a little back to Indian Creek"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, my boys and I joined other volunteers for some trailwork out on the Indian Creek Trail.\u00a0\u00a0 Indian Creek is part of the\u00a0&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/TourDeNoble.htm\" title=\"Tour De Noble\">Tour de Noble<\/a>&#8221; which each year provides many riders with an awesome trail experience.\u00a0 Today it was time to say thanks to the trail with a little TLC.\u00a0 With my Saturday mornings typically being locked-up with my boys&#8217; hockey games, it had been quite a while since I was last out for an organized trailwork event.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Luckily we are in between seasons right now.<\/p>\n<p>We met up at the lower Noble Canyon trailhead, where the USFS Ranger escorted\u00a0our\u00a0carpooled caravaned up to the trail.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Getting there was a bit of adventure on it&#8217;s own.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" imagescaler=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/b59b83632aa5d9f7ac5a2cd516b17471.jpg?resize=605%2C640\" border=\"3\" width=\"605\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/b59b83632aa5d9f7ac5a2cd516b17471.jpg?resize=605%2C640\" alt=\"Carvaning to trailhead\" height=\"640\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Once up to the trail, we had a nice hike hike up past the waterfall where we then started give the trail a haircut as well as little treadwork here and there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" imagescaler=\"http:\/\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/bfd1c62bc31b2d6ff27f99de1cd6ae85.jpg\" border=\"3\" width=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/6674348ebec46b5ac52092d5c4b72d61.jpg?resize=433%2C650\" alt=\"Trailwork\" height=\"650\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" imagescaler=\"http:\/\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/c0f21d5686471b06b6ed3e041da97ed8.jpg\" border=\"3\" width=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/3271173fb3f7e18ef224fb7db879e246.jpg?resize=433%2C650\" alt=\"Trailwork\" height=\"650\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This was my boys&#8217;
