With the exception of a few miles I had done in my truck a few years back, this was all new dirt for me.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mtbbill.com\/cpg\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/normal_IMG_8196.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"border: black 3px solid;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/a6d87ac95a95f4a61dcd507946de87ff.jpg?resize=433%2C650\" alt=\"\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" imagescaler=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/a6d87ac95a95f4a61dcd507946de87ff.jpg?resize=433%2C650\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The conditions were pretty darn perfect.\u00a0 The normally pain-in-the-butt sand was well packed and with just enough moisture to make traction just right.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mtbbill.com\/cpg\/albums\/userpics\/10001\/normal_IMG_8267.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"border: black 3px solid;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/0349e1b916cfb8a64fd8e2e75826e682.jpg?resize=433%2C650\" alt=\"\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" imagescaler=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mountainbikebill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/imagescaler\/0349e1b916cfb8a64fd8e2e75826e682.jpg?resize=433%2C650\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please excuse me for being skimpy on details.\u00a0\u00a0Some of my wandering were &#8220;off the reservation&#8221;
